Danny Ives
29 years old
Born: Philadelphia, PA
15 years training in the Martial Arts
Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Danny Ives, or as the kids know him as "Mr. Danny", has been involved with Martial Arts his whole life. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Danny took up Karate at the age of 11 because he liked punching and kicking and was always intrigued by the martial arts. Little did Danny know that learning to punch and kick was the least that he would take away from the training. He learned the value of hard work, discipline, technique, and being the best person he could be. It didn't take long before Karate turned into boxing, then Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and then he went all the way to high level Mixed Martial Arts. Along the way, Danny had a chance to intern and learn how to train kids from the world famous Team Lloyd Irvin program in Camp Springs, Maryland. Since leaving Camp Springs, Danny has been a big part of training and making the kids at our Baltimore location champions; not just on the mats, but most importantly, in life. Danny considers working with the kids programs to be his finest work and really enjoys seeing the kids turn into fine young men and women and model citizens.

Here is my Resume:

Teresa Russin
Muay Thai Coach

Teresa became involved in martial arts in 2007 after being introduced to the sport during a trip to Japan. She was raised in Florida and moved to the Annapolis area in 2008. Soon after, she joined Ivey League MMA and the Lloyd Irvin team. She has competed and won in Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilizan Jiu Jitsu, and No Gi Grappling. She currently trains and coaches the Children's program at Ivey League MMA alongside Coach Danny Ives. As a child herself, she played sports and competed throughout her youth on teams and as an individual in softball, tennis, and horesback riding. She knows that martial arts education for children offers much more than the typical afterschool activity because a child learns about self discipline, respect, how to work toward personal goals, and how to have fun while exercising. Every day she works with her amazing Ivey League kids is an enriching experience for her because these children always impress and inspire her.
